Reducing member inactivity is a game-changer for retention. In 2017, the inactivity rate at Fitness First stood at 28%, but today, the figure stands at just 8%. As Seibold says: “EGYM makes it easier for people to stay on the ball because they can control their training intuitively and based on data. And the best thing is that people don't just come along once, they become active in the long term. That helps us and, of course, the members themselves.”
